Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
- Responsible for the production planning/co-ordination, shop scheduling and dispatching
- Support daily material/production planning based on customers’ orders
- Plan for production which includes releasing of work orders and ensuring on-time delivery of shipments based on customer requirements
- Optimize loading capacity and monitor movement of finished goods to minimize retention period of finished goods
- Work closely with purchasing and warehouse/logistics groups to ensure on-time receipt, delivery of materials and finished goods shipments
- Monitor and co-ordinate on material shortages, expediting and ensuring material availability to support production plan
- Drive and minimize excess and obsolescence inventory
- Assist in developing and improving existing processes and procedures
- Develop and maintain key performance metrics
- Well verse in system and process and go to person as subject matter expertise in Planning function as needed
- Define and develop process when none is available
- Working with various functional groups (and sites, if needed) to come out with best known methods (BKMs) for implementation
- Improve closed-loop execution
- Create Training material (Regular retraining & Job aids, FAQ) & Roll-out, as needed
- Highlight if there are projects & timelines limitations
- Work on system set up and data cleansing
- Perform and Support UAT, cut over and Go Live as needed
- Help to trouble shoot and address issues by raising enhancement/incidents tickets and follow up on resolutions
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
