Job Summary:

  • Responsible for managing production locally according to agreed delivery timelines, ensuring that quality, timeliness and safety standards are met, and driving continuous improvement of production processes and KPIs.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Comfortable to work hands-on machines.

Responsible for meeting product quality standards, cost and delivery targets of systems manufactured in Singapore.

Perform product inspections to ensure that quality standards are met

Align, configure and calibrate systems during assembly/commissioning

Support design concept proposals and project costing and recommend design improvements on new and existing products.

Coordinate with production engineers and manufacturing partners to ensure alignment on project requirements and specifications.

Analyze BOM of new projects and put to production build.

Provide technical service support to internal customers (e.g. field service engineers)

Complete work instructions, manuals and other documentation related to production.

Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal customers regarding any changes or to resolve issues

Ensure good housekeeping of production areas in line with safety and health standards

Other tasks as may be required from time to time.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics preferred)
  • Minimum 1-3 years of technical experience

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  • Team player with strong integrity
  • Meticulous and detail oriented
  • Able to work Independently, highly motivated and self disciplined.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good English skills (written and oral)
  • Customer oriented
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Having X-Ray knowledge will be value added
