About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the Key Account Manager/Senior Key Account Manager will contribute to BeiGene’s company and sales objectives by performing assigned sales-related activities and partnering with clinicians and other stakeholders to help improve the health and well-being of cancer patients. With a primary goal of becoming trusted partners and providing value to health care practitioners (HCPs), the Product Specialist will proactively engage customers to execute co-designed solutions that benefit patients, HCP, and company.
The Key Account Manager/Senior Key Account Manager will provide HCPs with information that will enable them to use and prescribe BeiGene’s Oncology product(s) and will be accountable for achieving territory-specific business and sales goals.
In addition, Key Account Manager/Senior Key Account Manager will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams (Access, Marketing, Medical, Corporate affairs) to develop access strategy and customer-facing messages and will proactively engage with key external stakeholders to improve patient access of BeiGene’s product(s)
The ideal candidate will have a solution-orientated mindset and a patient-centric approach; they will be capable of increasing engagement with customers by adjusting their channel, focus, and behaviour to influence, gain agreement and meet the customer’s preference and needs. Also, the ideal candidate will be capable of solely managing the entire territory’s sales target and will achieve full compliance with drug laws and regulations when representing BeiGene’s products to HCPs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strong territory-specific sales plans to meet customer needs and achieve business and sales objectives.
- Develop and execute strong local territory plans with cross-functional support. The objective is to build customized engagement plans that drive best-in-class service, engagements, and impact with a defined group of customers.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through interactions and establish superior working relationships with key physicians in assigned territory
- Utilize data and analytics to prioritize engagements and interactions. Understand customer channel preference, focus, and behaviors and adjust style and delivery accordingly to deliver meaningful engagements with HCPs.
- Build engagement by working in partnership with HCPs to develop a sustained collaboration over time for BeiGene’s Oncology portfolio and Implement sales plans in line with marketing strategy
- Establish relationships with key external stakeholders and decision makers to coordinate commercial & access short/mid-term business objectives and maximize patient access.
- Assists in the identification and resolution of issues, and opportunities and communicates proactively to marketing and sales management.
- Perform all administrative functions required of the position, including capturing customer engagements and codesigning cross-functional customer plans, in an online CRM system
- Consistently ensure operation in accordance with BeiGene´s Standards of conduct and all applicable local laws and regulations.
Qualification Required:
Qualifications:
- This position requires a bachelor’s degree preferably in Pharmacy or equivalent educational background
- Over 7years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with 3~5 years of Hematology and/or Oncology experience
- Experience in launching new products in the sales team is preferred.
- Proven relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) in Oncology/Hematology & key external stakeholders
- Capability to engage with target customers utilizing various digital engagement tools (e.g. RTE/eDM, Webinar, Interactive i-Detailer)
- Dedicated to making customer experience a priority and passionate about the patient journey with a patient centric approach
- Highly skilled at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with scientific, medical, and commercial teams
- Is comfortable in dealing with ambiguity, and demonstrates a curious and open mindset
- Ability to analyze data and communicate it clearly and concisely to HCP
- Must be results-oriented and strategic. Highly motivated, solution-oriented, and a positive attitude.
- Makes things happen and is a self-starter; has the right level of implementation skills, shows persistent innovation and willingness to challenge status quo
- Superior teamwork skills through open, authentic communication and respect for individual differences
