Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to represent Building Automation, Smart Building in Singapore to drive sales and market growth. Each day, you will oversee sales and marketing activities and support Sales organizations in driving sales and services for Building Automation. You will also showcase your expertise by defining, planning, and ensuring the implementation of product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy for Building Automation.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Building Automation in Business Line Smart Building. Main stakeholders are System Integrators and customers who are involved in Building Automation.
You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Creating, planning, and ensuring implementation of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.

  • Focusing on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders (by ABB and third-party), growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and on-time delivery as requested.

  • Evaluating market opportunities, determining appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinating opportunities across local divisions and local business units, as appropriate.

  • Ensuring balanced growth for all product lines, product groups, and business units and creating product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing value-based selling approach.

  • Provide technical support in the areas of Building Automation.

  • Create market pricing relevant to Building Automation products and solution

Qualifications for the role

  • You are engaged in Building Automation and the Smart Building team with the regional team with at least 8 years of experience in a similar Product Marketing role.

  • Prior industry experience with network in M&E Consultants, Architects, Building management, Master system integrator would be preferred and required for this role.

  • Possess an enhanced knowledge in HVAC Controls, EDGE and Gateway. Familiar with KNX and HVAC products.

  • You are passionate in Product Marketing, innovative, equipped with interpersonal and communication skills to interact with stakeholders and customers.

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
