Product Manager –
User Activation & Growth
Austin, TX

Reporting to our VP of GTM, you’ll own the user activation journey — turning new signups into engaged, paying customers.  You’ll directly impact revenue by optimizing how users move from first touch through activation and into paid conversion within our product-led growth (PLG) engine.

We will train you on our PLG system and approach. What matters most is your ability to think analytically, move quickly, and execute.

Who You Are
  • Strong analytical mindset and comfortable working with data

  • Product intuition around user behavior and friction

What the Role Requires:
  • Must have 2–4 years of product experience
  • Solid technical foundation 
  • Hands-on support of engineering efforts, project management and documentation
  • Experience working on SaaS or digital products
  • Familiarity with product metrics (activation, conversion, retention)
  • Background working cross-functionally
  • Comfortable with analytics tools or willingness to learn
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to product-led growth or freemium models
  • Experience with A/B testing or experimentation
  • Familiarity with tools like Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.
  • SMB or vertical SaaS experience

  • Compensation range of $85K-$105K annually, depending on experience

What You’ll Do

You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and RevOps to identify friction, run experiments, and drive measurable improvements.   Key areas of focus include:

Activation & Time to Value
  • Improve onboarding flows and first-user experience
  • Reduce time to first meaningful product interaction
  • Identify friction points and recommend improvements
  • Support guided setup and onboarding flows
Product-Led Conversion
  • Optimize in-product upgrade moments
  • Support trial, paywall, and upgrade flow improvements
  • Build lifecycle touchpoints (in-app, SMS, email)
  • Track and report on conversion performance
User Insights & Analysis
  • Analyze user behavior across onboarding and early usage
  • Support funnel and cohort analysis
  • Identify trends impacting activation and conversion
  • Translate insights into product improvements
Experimentation
  • Support A/B testing across onboarding, pricing, and UX
  • Help define hypotheses and success criteria
  • Measure and report on experiment results
  • Contribute to a consistent testing cadence
Cross-Functional Execution
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and RevOps
  • Help ensure initiatives are executed and shipped
  • Align on priorities and outcomes across teams
