This is a 12 months fixed term contract role.
What will you do?
- Project & Product Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestone schedules in partnership with contracted vendors. Lead feature planning and prioritization processes informed by user feedback analysis, business impact assessment, technical complexity evaluation, and regulatory compliance requirements. Transform high-level project objectives into executable action plans through effective task decomposition, prioritisation frameworks, and strategic contribution to overall project vision.
- Product Strategy & Performance: Collaborate with stakeholders and contractors to develop product roadmaps and success metrics, regularly monitoring performance against established benchmarks. Oversee project progress tracking and deliver comprehensive status reporting to senior leadership. Maintain centralized project documentation repositories and ensure knowledge management best practices.
- Problem Prioritization & Impact Assessment: Evaluate and prioritize identified problems based on user impact severity, business value potential, technical feasibility, resource requirements, and strategic alignment.
- Agile Delivery: Facilitate daily scrum standups and agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Partner with end users to establish Definition of Done criteria for sprint deliverables and milestone achievements. Continuously monitor technical debt accumulation and recommend roadmap adjustments to optimize solution reliability and performance.
- Technical Analysis & Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive gap analyses between vendor solutions and product requirements, identifying integration challenges, customization needs, and potential technical debt implications. Proactively identify improvement opportunities and drive solution development by synthesizing complex data including problem statements, user pain points, capability gaps, proposed solutions, operational workarounds, and service journey enhancements into actionable recommendations aligned with project goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Certification in Agile Scrum Master, Product Management or equivalent recognized project and/or product management
- Product management experience with Finance ERP platforms
- Minimum 1 cycle of Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall product implementation experience
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives, preferably in government or regulated environments
- High Proficiency in analyzing business requirements and translating them into system functionality
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with senior and junior stakeholders
- Have experience working in financial industries setting (e.g., Banking, Insurance) will be an advantage
- Certification in major finance ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle) will be an advantage
- Have experience working in financial industries setting (e.g., Banking, Insurance) will be an advantage
