Responsible for air conditioning product marketing and online business strategy, overseeing P&L management, sales forecasting, and campaign execution.
Position Summary
This role is responsible for planning and implementation of action plans for air conditioning and online business to ensure achievement of business goals, for Singapore market.Role and Responsibilities
Aircon Product Marketing (Primary role):
- Establish overall business strategy for air conditioning department
- Positive contribution towards the achievement of business KPIs:
- Sales revenue and profit target
- Handle product roadmaps and lifecycle, pricing and island-wide promotion
- Manage 3-month sales / P&L forecasting, expenses plan and promoter incentives
- Responsible for ensuring detailed P&L management
- Allocation of marketing expenses, sales allowance to cross functional teams according to business needs
- Analyze competitive landscape and conducting regular competitor product benchmarking to increase market leadership
- Planning with various functional teams (Sales / Marcom / Retail) to ensure on-time and smooth execution of campaigns
- Work closely with Key Account Managers on pricing, promotion and demand planning for both B2B & B2C
- Work closely with SCM manager to ensure accurate sell-in/out forecast, healthy channel WOS and manage aging inventory
- Product launch planning and execution (trade and media partners)
- Confidently deliver product presentations to media and trade partners
- Application of product certification (Energy labelling, Short Range Device, Safety Mark)
- Closely manage external service vendor to ensure top notch service level provided for end consumer
- Contact point in aircon department for any service-related matters, providing appropriate advice for service-related matters
- Any other Ad Hoc duties and reporting
Online Product Marketing (Secondary role):
- The overall Product Marketing manager responsible for total Digital Appliances team online business (Refrigerator / Laundry / Cooking / Cleaning / Aircon)
- Collaborating with online team to build campaigns to achieve online sales target
- Working with respective Product Managers to ensure detailed P&L management
- Ensuring proper execution of campaigns / programs
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Management / Marketing
- Has no less than 5 years of experience of marketing / product management / business, within Air Conditioning / Air Solutions / HVAC product segment
- Competent in presentation skills (Powerpoint) and data analysis (Excel)
- Commercial savviness and acumen
- Good business planning, project management and execution skills
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
