The Product Management Control Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the development of product plans, strategies and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the of products , increase share of market and obtain competitive position.
Responsibilities:

  • Participate in day-to-day product management for Cards and Unsecured Lending products such as product governance, client experience, and product strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results.
  • Assist in the development and analysis of strategic product control roadmaps, ensuring framework development maximizes benefit from each product. Review surveys and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify potential risks, threats, and opportunities for product managers.
  • Work with product managers in addressing regulatory, AML, and Fraud product concerns to create an advanced set of solutions
  • Contribute to the achievement of targets and effective product risk management. Oversee the identification and execution of opportunities and address gaps in business plans.
  • Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, prioritizing Citigroup's reputation, clients, and assets. This includes ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and transparently reporting control issues.
  • Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team members
  • Implement team procedures, facilitate client problem resolution, and manage both internal and external client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • 5 – 8 years of relevant experience and >6 years of financial services industry experience
  • Knowledge of product control, credit, product development, and/or analytics
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
