We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst.
Your main tasks will be:
- Designing and running product experiments (defining test duration, assessing statistical power, evaluating A/B-test results, and determining significance).
- Supporting the generation, prioritization, validation, and evaluation of product hypotheses (“what happens if…?”).
- Identifying the root causes of anomalies or deviations in key metrics and signaling potential product issues.
- Searching for growth opportunities and developing hypotheses to improve key product metrics.
- Creating and maintaining product dashboards.
- When needed, formulating tasks for data engineers regarding changes to data architecture, databases, tables, etc.
We expect from you:
Required Hard Skills
- A higher mathematical or technical education.
- At least 3+ years of experience in product analytics, preferably in startup environments.
- Proficiency with data extraction, processing, and visualization tools (MS SQL, Python, Excel, Superset).
- Ability to make product decisions under limited data or when A/B testing is not possible.
- Strong understanding of product and marketing metrics (LTV, CPA, Retention, CR, etc.).
Nice to have: - Experience working in a startup.
- Experience as the only or most senior analyst in a company.
- Experience with Amplitude, AppsFlyer, Firebase.
Required Soft Skills
- Product thinking: ability to interpret product performance through user-centric metrics, understand user behavior behind numbers, identify growth opportunities, generate hypotheses, and build scoring systems.
- Systems thinking: ability to reason from general to specific and vice versa.
- Critical thinking: questions data quality and assumptions, challenges conclusions, performs cross-checks and validations.
- Effective communication:
-Strong storytelling with clear use of metrics and references.
-Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
-Structured conclusions with actionable recommendations and impact estimates.
-Ability to negotiate, present, and defend analytical insights to stakeholders. - Ownership and independence:
-Proactively searches for growth opportunities rather than waiting for assigned tasks.
-Takes responsibility for outcomes and drives tasks to completion.
