Key capabilities expected for the job (Example: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP experience etc.)

  • Knowledge of analytical instruments like Atomic Spectroscopy and instrument automation platform
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001
  • Ability to analyse and develop, communicate and improve business processes and systems
  • Ability to lead change and establish operational metrics and key indicators for process control, communication and performance improvement
  • Strong drive for results, balanced with effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge, skills and ability to implement lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrate maturity in leading, managing and execution of CI projects in Lean/Six Sigma/Total Productive Management
  • Proven capability in planning, organising, executing and tracking multiple projects and able to adjust to changing priorities and assignments
  • Good influencing skills in addition to sound problem-solving and analytical skills, enjoy coaching, motivating and developing others
  • Listen effectively and competent in communication
  • Solid proficiency in MS Office Suite: Excel, Project, Word & PowerPoint

Academic Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering/science disciplines

 

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong continuous improvement culture
  • Proven track records with excellent hands-on experience in IE, Lean, Six Sigma and/or TPM implementation in high mix low volume manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 5 years of active and proven Lean / Six-Sigma Black Belt experience, PMP would be a definite asset, ideally in a leadership role.
