General Summary of Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Pricing Analyst, you will:
- Support the SEA Pricing function within the Life Sciences Segment.
- Collaborate closely with commercial, marketing, and finance teams to review deals, gain approvals, and analyze sales and margin performance on strategic deals.
- Drive price realization through effective DAM build and optimize deal structure in collaboration with commercial teams.
- Identify and implement operational improvements to improve team efficiency and ensure quick turnaround times.
- Address pricing-related inquiries from direct sales and channel partners.
- Provide regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and reporting for management.
- Contribute to pricing projects, including process improvement, new product introductions, end-of-life product pricing, and price and profit optimization initiatives.
- Assist with the annual list price exercise and annual price agreements with all sales teams.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to optimize price performance and improve operational workflows.
- Develop and maintain accurate and reliable Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent level of professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a pricing role, or in a segment finance, sales operations, deal desk.
- Demonstrated background in pricing, financial analysis, or a similar position.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Ability to work with programming languages commonly used in data wrangling and analysis, such as SQL.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to successfully implement pricing strategies.
