Pre-Sales Consultant - Remote (SE Asia / Singapore)

As a Pre-Sales Consultant at GTreasury, you will be responsible for providing assistance to the sales team in identifying clients’ needs, proposing and demonstrating the GTreasury solution for our APAC region. This role is responsible for developing and managing the clients technical and end user relationships and assisting sales executives in selling the strategic vision. You will work in conjunction with the Sales Executives to pursue high value software and services sales and business development opportunities within GTreasury’s current and prospective client base to achieve or exceed yearly sales goals, increase market share and maximize profits.

What You Will Do:
Pre-Sales
- Through direct communication with prospective clients, work with the Sales Executives to gain a thorough understanding of their business needs, system needs and treasury requirements.
- Help develop, articulate and demonstrate the GTreasury solution to clients and prospects
- Provide business and technical input to RFP’s, client proposals, etc.
- Maintain an effective presence at industry events, conferences, seminars and trainings as required
- Maintains use case scenarios in demo environment via product UIs, tailoring as needed for client specific requirements
Product
- Maintain expertise in related industry issues relative to trends, competition, and customer needs
- Maintain expertise relative to the function and technology of the GTreasury’s product offering in order to represent and sell effectively
- You will be assuming the role of trainer for internal staffs who is supporting the product locally
Who We Are Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience working in Financial Technology/Services or similar industry
- Detailed understanding and experience with Treasury software
- Deep understanding of Treasury and accounting requirements
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- A background in consulting or product sales
- Team player with a strong sense of ownership
- Significant experience presenting solutions illustrating key business value tailored to a prospects’ needs
- Coordinates RFI / RFP responses for subject area, working with delivery organizations as needed.
- Conduct client presentations and demonstrations. Experience with Tell-Show-Tell methodology is beneficial
- Maintains use case scenarios in demo environment via product UIs, tailoring as needed for client specific requirements
- Works with product team to stay abreast of product roadmap, enhancements, updates, etc.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with peer SME’s necessary to present a unified message
- Pursues a program of self-development through the use of selected reading, seminars, and participation in continuing education
- Identifies and communicates possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers
- Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management
- Excellent listening, presentation, and consultative skills
- Proven organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills and proven success working directly with clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to interface and influence at multiple organizational levels
- Roughly 25+% travel expected
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business preferred, or equivalent experience.
