Role Summary: As a Post Editor, you will play a pivotal role in crafting high-quality video content for a global beauty brand, ensuring alignment with creative direction and client expectations through expert editing, color correction, audio processing, and visual effects. Collaborating closely with directors and cinematographers, you will bring stories to life while staying ahead of industry trends and leveraging innovative techniques to enhance production quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the post-production editing and creation of short videos, promotional films, and commercials, ensuring the final product meets creative direction and client expectations
- Edit video content, perform color correction, audio processing, and apply visual effects based on scripts and materials provided by the director
- Proficient in visual storytelling and expression, able to communicate effectively with directors and cinematographers to accurately realize creative intent
- Organize audio materials and produce post-production sound effects and music
- Independently complete video visual effects compositing and packaging design to enhance the visual appeal of the content
- Participate in creative discussions and provide effective visual and post-production suggestions
- Stay informed of industry trends and explore new technologies and production methods to improve efficiency and output quality
- Able to handle basic image editing tasks and assist with simple graphic design needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Film Production, Animation Design, Visual Communication, or related fields
- At least 2 years of experience in video post-production with a portfolio of completed work
- Proficient in editing and effects software such as Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro
- Strong sense of visual aesthetics and color control, skilled in video color grading techniques
- Familiar with audio editing and mixing, capable of independently handling sound design for videos
- Basic understanding of AI technologies and familiarity with AI tools applied in video post-production
- Strong sense of responsibility and team collaboration, able to work closely with directors and cinematographers to complete projects
- Skilled in using Photoshop and other graphic design tools, with a foundation in photo editing
