Administer and maintain enterprise physical security systems across APAC, with emphasis on Genetec Security Center and Synergis. Configure devices, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage service requests via Zendesk, coordinate vendors and site teams, support testing/commissioning, maintain documentation and reporting, and partner with global teams to standardize and optimize security technology.
Control Risks is partnering with a key client, a technology-centric global household brand, to recruit and embed an experienced Physical Security Systems Administrator who will partner with key stakeholders to support all enterprise security technology for the APAC region.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise physical security systems, with a strong focus on Genetec Security Center, including Synergis Access Control and video surveillance platforms.
- Program and configure new security devices, system expansions, upgrades, and Day 2 operational enhancements across APAC environments.
- Monitor system health, optimize system availability, and proactively identify and resolve issues impacting physical security infrastructure performance.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, system backups, firmware updates, log reviews, and preventative maintenance activities.
- Manage and prioritize service requests and break-fix incidents through Zendesk, ensuring timely resolution, documentation, and operational visibility.
- Configure access control systems, manage load sheets, perform Genetec programming, and maintain system configurations supporting operational and project requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, installers, and site stakeholders to support maintenance activities, service requests, and site access requirements.
- Support testing and commissioning activities, including pre-test validation, T&C reporting, punch list management, and system acceptance.
- Maintain accurate system documentation, service metrics, trackers, and reporting for ongoing maintenance activities and special projects.
- Partner with global security technology teams to improve system performance, standardize configurations, and support enterprise security initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience programming, administering, and supporting enterprise physical security systems.
- Expert understanding of Genetec Security Center, including Synergis Access Control and video surveillance solutions, with hands-on experience administering, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise deployments.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent security system service requests, maintenance activities, and new deployment projects with minimal supervision.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting enterprise physical security systems, including cameras, access control panels, and integrated security devices, with the ability to collaborate with field technicians and vendors on hardware-related issues.
- Understanding of network architecture and information security concepts, including LAN/WAN environments, IP addressing, DHCP, MAC addresses, VPNs, firewalls, Active Directory/domains, and collaboration with network teams.
- Strong project management, documentation, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliverables.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with global teams, vendors, installers, and technology partners.
- Genetec Security Center technical certification strongly preferred, including SC-STC-001 and/or SC-ETC-002.
