As we continue to expand, we are investing in our People Operations team, who are at the heart of making Klaviyo a great place to work.
To support our growth and expansion in APAC, we are looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting role where you'll be involved in providing first line support to employees across the region, own key HR processes, partner with key stakeholders across the People Operations team to deliver an exceptional employee experience, and get involved in delivering some exciting projects and initiatives.
How You'll Make a Difference
Employee Experience:

  • Ownership and provision of first line advice and support to employees on all HR processes, policies, and queries (including benefits administration, family leave processing, immigration etc). You will be directly interacting with our employees on the ground in APAC (and occasionally in the US & EMEA) by either answering their questions or escalating them to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Regularly update and improve the self-service experience for employees and managers through FAQs and how-to guides
  • Responsible for all HR policies in the region and answering employee queries on them
  • Ensure compliance against local legislation
  • Support key activities that are part of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit


Operations & Transactional Processing:

  • In partnership with the global team, support basic Workday transactions and processing, such as onboarding, offboarding, organisational changes, benefits changes, payroll events, and letters
  • Continually contribute to delivering the best user experience for our employees
  • Support employees and managers in completing transactions, educating and enabling them with the knowledge to become more self-sufficient
  • Identify employee inquiry trends to determine areas for process improvement or automation


Program and project support:

  • Support the delivery of key HR programmes and initiatives that are part of the APAC HR strategy
  • Provide support to regional HRBPs on BAU activities part of the employee life cycle
  • Provide ad-hoc project management support on cross-functional HR projects, as and when needed


What we are looking for:
Must have:

  • Previous experience working within HR, ideally within an Operations or Advisory role. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds in HR who have proven to be successful in the areas outlined above
  • Comfortable working in a global organisation reporting directly to your manager in the US whilst also partnering closely with the wider People Operations team in the US & EMEA
  • Strong learning agility and business acumen combined with a desire for personal and professional growth. You also have a high EQ and will be comfortable interacting with employees globally across all levels
  • A proactive, can-do attitude is essential to succeed in this role. You are someone who is excited and comfortable working on a wide range of things
  • Exceptional customer service skills with great interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge around Data Privacy and Employee Relations laws within APAC
  • Comfortable working with data and HR tech, with Workday experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to interact with highly confidential data with sensitivity and professionalism
  • Authorisation to work within Singapore without restrictions


Nice to have:

  • Experience using G-Suite is advantageous
  • Basic experience in data analytics including pivot tables, vlookups, and other formulas
  • Experience within a high growth technology environment


The pay range for this role is listed below. Some sales and success roles are also eligible for variable compensation. This role is also eligible for competitive benefits and perquisites, subject to company policy and applicable law.
Base Pay Range in Local Currency:
$72,000 - $108,000 SGD
