How you’ll make an impact


This role is responsible for helping accountants and bookkeepers (“Partners”) to understand the benefits of using Xero for their firm and for their clients. You will project manage Xero implementation and migration projects as well as deliver Xero education workshops, and webinars to accountants who use Xero, and accountants who are thinking about using Xero. If you have a passion for client relationships and cloud technology, this is the ideal opportunity to work closely with clients to helpthem execute an online growth strategy for their business.


What you’ll do


- Plan, prepare and execute on Xero implementation plans to ensure Partners implement Xero for their clients correctly and efficiently

- Assist the Asia sales team with your accounting and technical knowledge when pitching the benefits of Xero to Partners

- Present educational sessions in the form of workshops, webinars and classroom training to Partners as and when needed

- Handle complex Partner technical queries and respond in a timely manner

- Assist the Asia team with ad hoc tasks and events management

- Work closely with the Asia sales team to deliver business plans for Partners and meet territory activation goals

- Update the CRM system with all client communications including calls, emails and meetings

- Manage the creation of resources (process guides/videos) for frequently asked questions from Partners.


Success looks like

- Identifying opportunities for Partners to further digitalise their workflows and enhance the value they provide to clients (pre- and post-sales).

- Collaborating with account managers to close deals that require technical expertise (pre-sales).

- Seamlessly transitioning Partners from sales to active utilisation of the platform (post-sales).

- Advising on and removing blockers to implementation/utilization while upskilling Partner firm staff (post-sales).

- Serving as the go-to subject matter expert on all aspects of the Xero platform and working closely with Partners to accelerate adoption (advisory).



What you’ll bring with you

  • Min. 5 years experience, preferably working in accounting practice
  • Knowledge of the workings of an accounting practice and related systems
  • Experience in presenting training (advantageous) and accounting software knowledge
  • Experience with financial reporting, tax returns and compliance work advantageous
  • Experience in sales of accounting and/or related services advantageous
  • Qualified Accountant (CA Singapore, CA ANZ, CPA, ACCA)
  • Passion for SaaS and the online accounting market, technology and accounting industry
  • Ability to create strong rapport with key stakeholders and staff of accounting practices
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skillsStrong project management skills
  • Knowledge of and experience in using Xero
  • Fluent (written and spoken) in English
  • Fluent (spoken) in Mandarin
