Udemy is headquartered in San Francisco with global offices in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, Türkiye and two other US locations (Denver and Austin). This role is required to work US time - which will be 8:30 PM IST to 4:30 AM IST. Preference will be given to candidates who live near one of our hubs in India - Chennai or Mumbai
About this roleAs a Order Management Associate, you will be a key member of the Revenue Operations team, directly contributing to the growth of our B2B business by building out the systems, process, and infrastructure to help scale our organization to the next level. This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Manager of Deal Desk Administration. The Deal Desk Admin is a cross-functional role that partners with our sales, customer success, legal, and finance teams to streamline our overall quote-to-order process.
What you'll be doing- Basic and Complex Order Processing: Receive, review, and process basic orders, plus Debook/Rebook, Clawback, and Amend & Extend orders accurately and effeciently
- Compliance: Ensure orders are approved and compliant with company policies and procedures regarding revenue recognition and order processing.
- Issue Resolution: Address any order discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively, collaborating with relevant stakeholders as needed.
- Triage: Monitor all Deal Desk and Order Management queues to route work to the appropriate team/individual based on a set of formal routing rules.
- Low Touch Requests: Processes requests related to obtaining signatures, low-touch document changes, customer data changes, and system errors
- Special Projects: Contribute to Deal Desk and Order Management Special Projects by executing test scripts and providing feedbackPartner with our sales, customer success, finance, and legal team leaders to define standard / non-standard deal criteria and related approval processes.
- 3 months - 6 months of work experience in the Enterprise SaaS/B2B industry, with preference for experience in Deal Desk, Order Management, or Finance Operations
- Basic understanding of how to use Salesforce and familiarity with Netsuite - Proficient in gSuite or Microsoft Office - Familiar with basic Revenue Recognition Rules
- Salesforce.com CPQ experience preferred but not required.
- Proficient in gSuite or Microsoft Office
- A high attention to detail is necessary to prevent errors in processing orders, invoicing, and delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across the business with sales, legal, finance, and other stakeholders - Capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks under pressure with flexibility during high-volume periods
