About the Role

As an Oracle Cloud Expense Consultant, you will support the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle Cloud Expenses solutions. You will work with finance, business, and technology stakeholders to understand expense management requirements and help deliver practical solutions that improve user experience, policy compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support functional design and configuration of the Oracle Cloud Expenses module under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Configure expense types, templates, policies, approval rules, audit rules, corporate card processing, and reimbursement settings.
  • Assist with fit-gap analysis and translate business requirements into system configuration or clearly documented solution options.
  • Prepare and execute unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT), including defect tracking and retesting.
  • Support data preparation, configuration migration, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations with corporate card providers, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, reporting, and other relevant systems.
  • Prepare user guides, training materials, configuration documents, and operational support documentation.
  • Provide day-to-day functional support, investigate user issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Help ensure the solution aligns with client policies, internal controls, data privacy requirements, and applicable Singapore requirements.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
    • 2–4 years of experience in Oracle Cloud applications implementation, enhancement, or production support.
    • Hands-on exposure to Oracle Cloud Expenses, including configuration and testing activities.
    • Good understanding of end-to-end employee expense, approval, audit, reimbursement, and accounting processes.
    • Experience preparing functional documents, test scripts, training materials, or user guides.
    • Ability to analyze issues, organize information, and communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders.
    • Willingness to learn, take ownership of assigned tasks, and work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
    • Strong communication, documentation, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

    Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

    • Oracle Cloud Financials or Expenses certification.
    • Exposure to Oracle Payables, General Ledger, Cash Management, Procurement, or related Oracle Cloud modules.
    • Experience with corporate card feeds, expense mobile applications, approval workflows, reporting, or integrations.
    • Prior experience in consulting, shared services, or a large enterprise environment.
    • Experience supporting regional or multi-country implementations.
