Mission of this role:
The mission consists in defining and managing all aspects of the ADAS (optomechanical) design to meet the OEM and internal system requirements.
Specific Responsibilities:
Optical engineering typically covers the following technical area:
・ Lens & Image sensor design
・ Image tuning & Calibration design
Related to the above items,
・ Requirement analysis and report preparation
・ Design verification and report preparation
・ Product evaluation and preparation of a report based on the evaluation results
・ Proposal for improvement of the production process
Must Have Requirements:
Technical Skills:
・ Practical experience in the development, design, product engineering, evaluation, and analysis as optical engineer
・ Available for short-term overseas business trips
General Skills:
・ Communication in global environment
・ Communication with customer
・ Attention to detail
・ Process minded
・ Customer focus
Nice to Have Skills and Experience:
・ Practical experience in the development, design, product engineering, evaluation, and analysis as image sensors engineer.
・ Practical experience in the development, design, product engineering, evaluation, and analysis of image tuning.
・ Practical experience in the development, design, product engineering, evaluation, and analysis of calibration.
・ Practical experience in software development.

Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Language Ability:
- English: Able to communicate effectively with overseas engineers in English, including understanding technical documentation and engaging in verbal discussions.
- Japanese: Business-level Japanese proficiency, capable of communicating effectively with customers.
