About The Role

As our Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end event operations at TOKEN2049 & SuperAI including but not limited to ticketing & payment, registration, exhibitors management, vendors management and on-site operations. You are also expected to roll out a world-class event operations roadmap to bring our events to be next level.

You will be responsible for ensuring that everyone finds what they are looking for and remains engaged both digitally and in our in-person event.

Responsibilities
  • Create and oversee a world-class event operations roadmap to bring TOKEN2049 to the next level.
  • Recruit, mentor and manage junior operations executives.
  • Ticket management, including ticket sales, inventory management, and customer support.
  • Oversee end-to-end event execution process, ensuring that all logistical elements are seamlessly coordinated.
  • Develop and implement new systems to enhance the operations process.
  • Manage the TOKEN2049 online and on-site attendees registration before and during the event.
  • Analyze event data and metrics to identify areas for improvement in operations and provide recommendations.
  • Manage the Community Team, ensuring that both inbound and outbound inquiries are handled in a timely manner.
  • Manage the TOKEN2049 Help Desk - provide world class end-to-end customer service.
  • Manage and coordinate with vendors to resolve any issues or changes during the event planning and execution phases.
  • Manage the event staff, volunteers, and any subcontractors on-site.
  • Troubleshoot and address any issues that arise during the event, making timely decisions to maintain the event's success.
Skills & Experience
  • Entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, pragmatic, self-starter attitude.
  • 10 years of experience with event operation/ tickets management for large-scale global events.
  • Experience in planning and implementing new systems / initiatives to enhance operation process.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong resilience and patience.
  • Project management skills to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Interest in and passion for web3/crypto or AI space is a plus.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
