As a Operations Manager, you will oversee daily operations and production activities to meet customer demand, safety standards, and quality requirements. You will be reporting to the Business Director based in Singapore.
Main Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team across production, planning, maintenance, logistics, and warehouse functions.
Responsible for EHS Management system for the plant
Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing processes, safety and environmental aspects.
Provide direction, leadership and motivation in the management of manufacturing activities for smooth and highly efficient operation.
Accountable for Aerospace Production system implementation (Lean and continues improvement) , regarding its discipline, process and culture build up
Oversight Production Scheduling and OTD performance of the plant
Ensure proper resource allocation, workforce planning, and workforce training to support operational excellence. Manage capital project and investment in the production workshop
To enhance productivity and operating efficiency to achieved targeted production and quality output.
Planning and monitoring of materials usage and generating raw materials requisition
Responsible for raw material inventory and ensure inventory accuracy and control are in place.
To co-ordinate and oversee the implementation of ISO and ensure the proper document of records and the Quality Management system implemented are meeting the quality goals.
Production equipment’s upgrading and preventive maintenance programs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, procurement, and customer service to support business goals.
Support audits, customer visits, and internal reviews.
Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.
Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
5+ years of manufacturing experience or equivalent.
Have strong technical background in manufacturing management environment.
Positive attitude, mature, responsible, proactive and able to work independently
Knowledge of manufacturing techniques, processes and equipments.
Good interpersonal, negotiation, planning and communication skills.
Create changes for continuous improvement
Respond to others’ opinions in a constructive manner
Be proactive in taking lead to solve issues in hand.
Build strong relationship with peers and subordinate and continuously promote teamwork
