We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to manage the servicing, maintenance, and logistics of our vehicle fleet. This role ensures operational efficiency, compliance with statutory requirements, and high service standards across all vehicle-related activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive maintenance and customer service, with a hands-on approach to daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate vehicle servicing and repair schedules.
- Verify that all repair works are completed in accordance with submitted quotations and meet quality standards.
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure vehicle cleanliness and mechanical soundness.
- Manage annual statutory inspections for all vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of daily petrol consumption.
- Guide hirers in completing accident reports when necessary.
- Handle delivery and collection of vehicles scheduled for servicing or repair.
- Manage delivery and collection of vehicles rented out by the department.
- Ensure all vehicles are serviced in line with manufacturer recommendations.
- Review and verify servicing packages against GDMS before dispatching vehicles to workshops.
- Update Salesforce promptly before and after job completion.
- Log vehicle movements accurately in the Web Client system.
- Respond to breakdowns via mobile support.
- Perform ad hoc assignments as directed by the Operations Executive.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE O-Level qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in automotive maintenance.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
