Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to manage the servicing, maintenance, and logistics of our vehicle fleet. This role ensures operational efficiency, compliance with statutory requirements, and high service standards across all vehicle-related activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive maintenance and customer service, with a hands-on approach to daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate vehicle servicing and repair schedules.
  • Verify that all repair works are completed in accordance with submitted quotations and meet quality standards.
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure vehicle cleanliness and mechanical soundness.
  • Manage annual statutory inspections for all vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily petrol consumption.
  • Guide hirers in completing accident reports when necessary.
  • Handle delivery and collection of vehicles scheduled for servicing or repair.
  • Manage delivery and collection of vehicles rented out by the department.
  • Ensure all vehicles are serviced in line with manufacturer recommendations.
  • Review and verify servicing packages against GDMS before dispatching vehicles to workshops.
  • Update Salesforce promptly before and after job completion.
  • Log vehicle movements accurately in the Web Client system.
  • Respond to breakdowns via mobile support.
  • Perform ad hoc assignments as directed by the Operations Executive.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE O-Level qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in automotive maintenance.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
