The Oncology Sr Product Manager is responsible for managing product performance, developing strategic plans, analyzing market intelligence, forecasting sales, managing expenses, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires close collaboration with multiple functions to achieve business results and drive customer engagement.
ROLE SUMMARY:
- This position is responsible for the management and performance of the designated product by developing strategies that will differentiate the product with competitive advantages based on clear understanding of the corporate objectives and the healthcare environment.
- This position reports directly to the TA Lead and works closely with other related functions (e.g. sales, medical, legal, access, corporate affairs, etc)
- Marketing Lead supervises this position for his/her further development.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve Business Results
Product Planning & Implementation
- Develops strategic/operating plans and POAs for designated product(s)
- Uses interconnected channels that can be personalized to shape customer experience, omnichannel strategy and action
- Ensures effective implementation of designated promotional plans to achieve desired business outcomes
Market Intelligence
- Analyzes and interprets market intelligence from a range of sources (including market research) to ensure that knowledge is up to date and appropriate for decision making
Sales Forecasting
- Assesses and understands the competitive pharmaceutical market and proactively identify opportunities in sales goals that are aligned with the corporate objectives
Expense Management
- Demonstrates sound financial management by ensuring that expenses are within budgets to achieve profit targets
Relationship Management with Customer/Stakeholders
- Builds positive relationships with key customers/stakeholders (opinion leaders) and leverages omnichannel approach to impact behavior and mindset with speed and agility
- Drives voice of customer insights
Work with Field Force
- Works effectively with field force to develop, implement and monitor strategies to achieve budgets
Cross-divisional Teamwork
- Develop and lead access strategy for inline & new products
- Understands the interdependencies of cross-functional teams and work effectively with key stakeholders to develop, implement and monitor grand strategies to achieve budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree or above
- Preferably 2~5 years of experience at sales or marketing in the Pharmaceutical Industry or the related Industry
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Strategic and analytic thinking
- Strong teamwork
- High ethical standards (Integrity)
