The role

As our Office Manager, you will ensure that Graphcore’s Hsinchu and Taipei offices are a great place to work, visit and do business. Naturally, you’ll understand the importance of great customer service and exemplify this when interacting with all visitors and employees. Additionally, you'll ensure that all office equipment is maintained to the appropriate quality and quantity, relevant records are up to date and all administrative processes work effectively. You will work closely with our local team but report into our Global Head of Workplace and Facilities who is based in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome all visitors and ensure they sign into the visitors management system
  • Organise and lead the support for Graphcore events
  • Manage M&E and cleaning contractors to ensure high level of services are delivered to ensure clean, safe, and appealing spaces for visitors and employees
  • Follow all operational procedures, including managing meeting rooms, order consumables etc
  • Excel in the upkeep of this new workplace for Graphcore
  • Be part of and a contributor to the Global Workplace & Facilities team and our strategy
  • Ensure Health & Safety statuary compliance is fully implemented and adhered to by everyone including visitors

What you’ll bring 

You’ll have experience in office or facilities coordination, ideally within a technology or fast-paced business environment. You’ll be highly organised, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent service. This role suits someone with a warm, approachable nature and a strong focus on customer service, confident in leading tasks independently.

Essential skiils

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across teams
  • A collaborative and professional attitude, with a focus on employee wellbeing and workplace efficiency
  • Willingness to learn and grow 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Desireable skills

  • Interest in or progress toward IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
