The Role 

Video/Motion Designer 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Video/Motion Designer to join our dynamic creative team. This role requires expertise in both motion design and video post production. The role encompasses responsibilities such as conceptualizing and storyboarding, animation and visual effects and interactive motion design. The ideal candidate will have a background in storytelling with moving visuals and a proven track record of producing high-quality videos and motion graphics that resonate with target audiences. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Concepts: Working closely with peers on the conceptualisation and creation of visually compelling motion ideas for campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, and events. Contribute to the development of scripts and storylines for video projects, offering insights on how motion design can enhance the narrative and messaging. Collaborate with scriptwriters to ensure a seamless integration of motion design and filmed content. 
  • Post production: Collaborate with video production teams to seamlessly edit filmed content with motion design elements, ensuring a cohesive and polished final product. This includes all elements of post production. 
  • Animation and Visual Effects: Creation of dynamic and visually stunning videos, animations, incorporating innovative visual effects to enhance engagement. Ensure the seamless integration of motion design elements with other multimedia components, such as video, graphics, sound and interactive content. 
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including client services, project managers, copywriters, art directors, developers, and strategists, to align creative concepts and delivery to brief. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and creativity. 
  • Stay updated with industry trends and customer insights to incorporate the latest creative practices, tech innovations and techniques into campaigns. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in film/video, animation, art, visual communication, or similar 
  • Proven experience of at least 3 year in a video and/or motion role, preferably within a marketing or advertising agency. 
  • Portfolio showcasing a wide range of video/motion projects, 
  • Proficiency in video/animation software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Animate, Express, Audition) and understanding of 3D tools such as Cinema4D is a bonus. 
  • Creative and conceptual thinking abilities. 
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality storytelling. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
