To play a crucial role in developing, validating, and implementing advanced analytical and data solutions to enhance OCBC’s credit risk management capabilities. This role focuses on using statistical methods (e.g., loss forecasting, stress testing) and data analytics to derive insights to facilitate management of our consumer credit portfolios.
How it works
The successful candidate will be a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with strong programming skills and a solid understanding of credit risk principles. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders including Risk Management, Data Science, IT, and business units.
What you do
Extract insights from data to facilitate credit portfolio management, conduct portfolio reviews and creation of credit policies
Manage & generate portfolio dashboards and reports, providing meaningful analysis for performance trends.
To automate and optimise analytics pipelines (in Python) that are used in credit risk analytics/dashboards.
Who you are
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Engineering, Physical Sciences (Physics, Chemistry), Computer Science, Data Analytics/ Data Science, or related fields.
Good experience in the use of Python, SAS and SQL to perform data analysis and manipulation (Candidates with strong python experience preferred)
Minimum of 3 years working experience in analytics
Good written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and to work independently
Willing to take on new challenges and work in a fast-paced environment
