The MES Engineer maintains and improves hardware/software systems for semiconductor production, ensuring data flow and system performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing business support.
Our Client is looking for a MES Engineer to maintain and improve
both hardware and software systems that support the semiconductor
production operations.
You will be the bridge between thefactory floor and IT systems,
ensuring smooth data flow, stable system performance, and quick problem
resolution.
Job
scope
Hardware Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform daily monitoring and
maintenance of production system hardware.
- Troubleshoot and fix technical
issues to minimize factory downtime.
Software System Integration
- Maintain and support Manufacturing
Execution Systems (MES) that monitor chip production.
- Connect machines, sensors (IoT),
and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) to ensure automatic and accurate data flow.
- Ensure MES operates smoothly and
supports daily manufacturing processes.
Business & Operational Support
- Work closely with production,
engineering, and IT teams to translate process needs into system
solutions.
- Document system processes, create
user guides, and conduct MES user training.
- Develop simple reports and
dashboards showing key performance indicators (KPI) such as output,
downtime, and quality metrics.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or
related field.
- 3 years’ experience in software/system
support within a manufacturing environment.
- 1 year experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and
basic troubleshooting steps.
