Purpose of the job:

Dentsu is seeking driven, detail-oriented candidates with an interest in advertising and digital marketing for two Media Intern openings within their Media agencies. This is a 6 month full-time internship provides an opportunity to develop skills and gain experience in an agency environment.

Role Responsibilities:

The intern will assist the team with:

1. Preparation of media plans and campaigns

  • Understanding client objectives and media strategy.
  • Liaising with media vendors to support strategy and campaign development.
  • Developing, delivering, and maintaining digital media plans.
  • Working with ad trafficking, site tagging, ad ops, and campaign tagging teams.

2. Activation of media campaigns

  • Ensuring accurate campaign setup and execution on self-served platforms.
  • Briefing third parties and following up on media execution for managed service media.
  • Monitoring campaigns and pacing.
  • Delivering and maintaining reporting systems and templates.
  • Managing post-campaign reporting to quantify media strategy value.

3. Data analysis and recommendations

  • Collecting and cleaning data from various media datasets.
  • Performing basic statistical analysis to identify trends.
  • Utilizing data visualization techniques to present findings.
  • Providing data-backed recommendations to optimize strategies.

What we offer:

Media Interns will be enrolled in the Media MBA program, a structured learning experience led by Dentsu experts using proprietary tools. This program aims to provide specialized knowledge, practical skills, hands-on experience, and mentorship.

Requirements:

  • Preferably a student or graduate in Marketing, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Keen interest in Digital Marketing and Advertising.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Background / Experience in Digital Marketing is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of data analysis techniques and tools is a plus.
