Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore, Singapore. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems for a variety of projects in commercial, institutional, and industrial settings.
- Design and develop mechanical systems, including ACMV, plumbing, and other related systems for diverse projects
- Perform complex calculations and analysis to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and REVIT
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with other engineering disciplines
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and oversee installation of mechanical systems
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and drafters
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in mechanical engineering
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in building systems design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems design principles
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, including ASHRAE and SMACNA
- Experience with building energy modeling software is preferred
- Knowledge of sustainability standards such as LEED and Net Zero is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Solid project management skills and experience
- Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards
- Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and client meetings
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
