What You'll Do

    Strategic Narrative & Planning

  • Drive the production of SEA's key strategic documents: quarterly business reviews, market landscape summaries, annual planning submissions and strategy papers - crisp, rigorous and decision-ready

  • Lead strategic work from framing the problem through analysis to a clear recommendation: business cases for SEA's strategic bets, scenario modelling, and decks and memos for local leads, and for carrying the region's agenda into senior leadership and global forums.

  • Produce SEA's submissions into APAC and global planning cycles.

  • Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor competitive, consumer and regulatory developments across SEA markets and maintain a full view of the industry

  • Anticipate emerging consumer and creator trends, surface critical signals to the leadership team early, and build the insight base functions need to define strategy

  • Business Planning & Budget

  • Drive the annual budget build for SEA - scenario work, trade-off analysis and the business-case layer behind resource decisions

  • Partner with FP&A and functional leads to keep plans grounded in financial reality

  • Operational Excellence & Collaboration

  • Partner with your peer MSO Manager on the region's operating rhythm - business reviews, planning cadences and performance tracking - contributing analytical depth to the operational agenda

  • Support and execute strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives that don't fit neatly into any one function, stepping in alongside teams and driving alignment across Music, Podcast, Marketing, Growth and Business Development

  • Use AI tools as a force multiplier in analytical and document work - and help embed them into how the SEA team plans and operates

Who You Are

  • A minimum of 7 - 10+ years experience in strategy consulting and/or in-house strategy roles, with exposure to Southeast Asian markets, ideally including media, consumer internet or subscription businesses

  • Outstanding analytical and modeling skills - you extract logic and meaningful conclusions from complex business problems, and build business cases that are rigorous and usable

  • Excellent writing and visual communication - your memos and decks are decision-quality without editing: structured, persuasive and instantly credible

  • Just as comfortable building a market business case as fixing a broken planning process

  • A self-starter and natural collaborator in flat, cross-functional organisations - you define the problem, structure the work and drive to output with minimal direction

  • Low ego, high drive - you measure your impact by the quality of the decisions you enable, not by who gets the credit

  • Fluent with AI tools in analytical and writing workflows - you use them to move faster and think sharper

  • Fluent in English; command of one or more regional languages is a plus

Where You'll Be

  • This role is based in Singapore
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home
  • Please note that this role requires candidates to possess a valid right to work in Singapore. We are unable to provide work visa sponsorship for this position in accordance with Singapore's employment regulations.
