As a Cash Operations Transaction Processing Specialist - Analyst (Analyst) on the Payment Operations team, you support day-to-day payment processing activities for clients and internal partners. You help ensure transactions and deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and in line with required controls. You partner closely with stakeholders to resolve inquiries, investigate issues, and drive timely escalation when needed. You contribute to a consistent, well-controlled environment while continuously improving how work gets done.

The Payment Operations team supports high-volume, deadline-driven processing that requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and disciplined execution. You’ll collaborate with peers and partners across operations and business teams to keep workflows efficient, compliant, and client-focused.

Job responsibilities

  • Process daily payment-related deliverables accurately and within established cutoffs
  • Monitor queues and exceptions to identify issues early and reduce processing risk
  • Respond to business partner inquiries with clear, timely updates and next steps
  • Investigate payment processing breaks and determine root cause and resolution path
  • Escalate risks, issues, and time-sensitive challenges to appropriate stakeholders promptly
  • Partner with other transaction processing teams to adopt best practices and standardize workflows
  • Maintain accurate documentation and processing notes to support transparency and auditability
  • Follow applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements within your scope
  • Identify opportunities to improve controls, reduce rework, and streamline processes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Experience supporting international payment processing operations
  • Proficiency in English and Korean with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and meet tight processing deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners in a team-based environment
     

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Working knowledge of Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) messaging and international payment conventions and practices
