Job Description:

Are you ready to shape the future of our Airbus Defence (AD) presence in the APAC region? We are looking for a strategic Marketing Manager to act as the regional "anchor," aligning our European marketing teams with local business objectives to drive long-term growth and deeper customer intimacy.
 

In this role, you are the architect for our regional market positioning. You will define how we show up in APAC at trade-shows and events, ensuring our portfolio resonates with local stakeholders while contributing directly to pipeline health.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement an integrated regional marketing plan that mirrors our business objectives. You’ll work hand-in-hand with principal stakeholders to ensure our campaigns are both ambitious and achievable.

  • Portfolio Storytelling: Create and deliver compelling non-product-specific initiatives. From digital marketing to showcasing site capabilities and future portfolio views, you will define how the market perceives our brand.

  • "Over the Horizon" Marketing: Drive long-term customer engagement by analyzing country-specific business trends. You'll develop initiatives that influence the lead pipeline years into the future.

  • Key Account Partnership: Act as the primary Marketing interface for our Key Account Managers (KAMs). You’ll ensure they have the tools, materials, and portfolio insights they need to win.

  • Marketing Tools: You master the definition and deployment of Marketing tools for the region and beyond

  • Events & Presence: Own the regional stage. You will implement sponsorships, lead regional conferences, and ensure APAC’s voice is heard during major corporate events in close alignment with Airbus stakeholders

  • Voice of the Customer: Guide the APAC team through the Customer Feedback process. You’ll analyze insights, coordinate high-priority follow-ups with KAMs, and turn raw feedback into actionable marketing strategies.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering or related

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar marketing role or related

  • Past experience in military and/ or defence preferred

  • Experience in leading and coordinating marketing and supporting campaigns and business growth.

  • Experience in ensuring that the market segment specific requirements are met

  • Experience in closely working with the campaign, sales teams and on the other side with the product and portfolio.

  • Experience of the all the 4Ps of marketing.

  • Strong experience in developing and deploying marketing tools and applications.

  • Confident in working with high-level of customers and top management in providing a solid marketing view relating to the specific activities.

  • Ensuring that the implementation of marketing activities meets the set targets

  • Possesses both a strategic view and hands-on approach e.g. produce content.
