Your Role in Our Story:

As the Marketing Manager, APAC, you will lead ACT's marketing strategy across the Asia-Pacific region, driving demand generation, brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth across all APAC.

You will be responsible for translating ACT's global Go-to-Market strategy into scalable regional marketing programs that reflect local market dynamics, customer needs, and commercial priorities. Working closely with regional sales leadership, country managers, sustainability specialists, corporate marketing, and global revenue marketing, you will ensure marketing investment directly supports pipeline generation and business growth across APAC.

As the Marketing Manager, you will oversee the entire APAC marketing budget, establish regional priorities, coach and develop your team, and serve as the strategic marketing advisor to APAC leadership.

This role reports directly to Global Head of Regional Marketing, with a dotted-line reporting line to the APAC Managing Director, and works closely with Regional Sales Leadership and Country Managers across the region.

Your Expertise: 
  • Develop and Execute Regional Marketing Strategy

Own the marketing strategy for APAC, translating global Go-to-Market initiatives into regional marketing plans that align with commercial objectives, local market conditions, and customer buying behaviors. Establish regional priorities and ensure consistent execution across all markets.

  • Demand Generation & Pipeline Growth

Own regional demand generation performance, developing integrated campaign and events that generate qualified pipeline and support revenue targets. Lead the regional Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy while ensuring marketing activities are aligned with sales priorities and measurable business outcomes.

  • Regional Leadership & Team Development

Lead, coach, and develop the Marketing Managers in China and Japan, providing direction, performance management, mentoring, and career development. Oversee recruitment, objective setting, KPI management, and succession planning to build a high-performing regional marketing team.

  • Cross-functional Business Partnership

Act as the strategic marketing partner to APAC Sales Leadership, Country Managers, Sustainability Specialists, R&D, and Corporate Marketing. Facilitate alignment between regional commercial priorities and global marketing initiatives while ensuring consistent communication across functions.

  • Regional Campaign Planning & Localization

Lead regional marketing planning, ensuring campaigns are effectively localized for individual markets while maintaining alignment with global messaging and brand standards. Develop scalable frameworks that balance regional consistency with local relevance.

  • Budget, Agency & Resource Management

Own the annual APAC marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across markets and programs. Manage agency selection, performance, contracts, and governance while maintaining strong financial discipline and maximizing return on marketing investment.

  • Executive Reporting & Business Performance

Develop regional dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide clear visibility into marketing performance, pipeline contribution, campaign ROI, and budget utilization. Present quarterly business reviews and strategic recommendations to APAC leadership and global stakeholders.

  • Marketing Technology & Operational Excellence

Champion the adoption and optimization of marketing technologies, automation platforms, reporting tools, and campaign processes across APAC to improve scalability, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Strategic Business Advisor

Serve as the primary marketing advisor to APAC leadership, providing market insights, competitive intelligence, customer trends, and strategic recommendations that support long-term regional growth and commercial success.

Skills and Experience

  • At least 6 years of B2B marketing experience and 3 years of leadership experience, including leadership experience managing regional marketing programs and high-performing teams across multiple countries.
  • Proven success developing and executing regional demand generation strategies that contribute directly to pipeline growth and commercial performance.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs in partnership with sales organizations.
  • Strong experience managing regional marketing budgets, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders within a matrix organization.
  • Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across multiple APAC markets while balancing global consistency with local market requirements.
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop marketing professionals while driving accountability and performance.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience using marketing analytics, dashboards, and campaign reporting to inform strategic decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and build strong partnerships across Sales, Product, Sustainability, and Corporate Marketing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex marketing and commercial data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Proactive, strategic, and results-oriented with the ability to balance long-term planning and hands-on execution in a fast-paced international environment.
