Ecolab Life Sciences is seeking an extraordinary Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific. The role manages the Life Sciences marketing activities for Asia Pacific customers, helping the business achieve annual double-digit growth targets. This individual will lead innovation strategy in the region with cross-functional teams, develop and execute both short- and long-term regional growth strategies, and oversee customer and competitive insights, while acting as a champion of the Ecolab brand and delivery of the Ecolab Experience.

What You’ll Do

Ecolab is seeking a Marketing Manager to help our sales teams and customers meet their goals, drive the value proposition, and impact the achievement of our aggressive growth targets. Partnering with global teams to drive the regional strategy with direct sales teams and distributor partners, this individual will support, retain and grow our Life Sciences businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales growth, customer retention and profitability of the business within the Life Sciences business platform by supporting strategic planning and execution of regional marketing campaigns (Eg Lunch & Learn, Virtual Seminars and others)

  • Collect market sizing, competitive insights, VOC, and to align and adapt global strategic plans to the regional Asia level

  • Work with global marketing and regional sales team leaders to develop, monitor and grow sales, pipeline and lead generation

  • Oversee industry partnerships, thought leadership and events strategy & execution support in the region to drive brand awareness

  • Provide Ecolab regional sales force with leadership and marketing support, including sales tools, training, competitive landscape, intelligence and actionable reporting

  • Develop in-depth customer insights and market knowledge. Communicate market needs and opportunities.

  • Develop short and long-term strategies and plans for demand generation, on-going market research, customer needs assessment, assist with sales and inventory forecasting for launch products as well as customer and sales history analysis.

  • Execute marketing strategies, programs, and pricing strategies which will meet profit objectives for the region.

  • Assist in developing sales and customer training programs and sales tools to support the sales force in response to customer and competitive needs.

  • Provide competitive intelligence to the field sales teams to counter competitive offers

  • Lead cross functional teams, as needed, to deliver project results.

  • Support the channel strategy and oversee marketing campaigns with key distributor partners

  • Support new market expansion activities through brand awareness development and portfolio positioning.

  • Lead customer seminars and joint exhibition executions

What You’ll Need

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 -10 years of professional experience in progressive leadership for Pharm, Biopharma, Healthcare – Lifescience

  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and internet

  • Business-to-business (B2B) marketing experience within biopharma, cleanroom, pharma or supporting pharma industry. Good understanding of Biopharma workflow esp purification experience is a bonus.

  • Good connections within the related industry is a plus

  • Ability to relate to influential people and complex organizational structures; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills; setting vision and strategy, planning, critical thinking, orchestrating cross-functionally, overseeing multiple project elements and proven track record of results

  • Must have demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks

  • Experience in digital innovation, sustainability-driven technical programs
