We are seeking a highly organised and creative marketing coordinator to join our marketing team with a focus on designing and executing house events. While part of the wider marketing team, the candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating a variety of marketing- and sales-driven events, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, promotional events, and client events. We are looking for someone who is proactive with excellent project management and communication skills, who can contribute to enhancing our marketing and sales efforts through impactful events.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Planning & Execution

  • Assist in organising online and offline events, including webinars, seminars, workshops, and client engagement events, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
  • Develop and manage event timelines, vendors, budgets, and logistics.
  • Coordinate event setup, teardown, and on-site management.
  • Ensure all events are executed within budget and meet established objectives.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align event strategy with overall marketing and sales goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns promoting events
  • Active involvement in the corporate events committee

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and other partners to ensure all logistical elements are in place for seamless event execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, sponsors, and partners.
  • Manage contracts and invoices related to event expenses.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related fields
  • Work or internship experience in event planning and coordination, preferably within a marketing environment.
  • Self-driven to independently complete assigned research and projects under minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
