Role responsibilities

  • Map annotation, validation, and development of basic tools:

  • Annotate and maintain high quality map information for Autonomous Vehicle

  • To plan for routine testing and validation for new map to comply with requirements set up by Mapping and Localization team

  • Work with Testing and Simulation team to carry out mapping tests and to make use of the collected onboard sensor data

  • Make plan for map version deployment/updating on vehicles

  • Develop tools for faster map annotation and maintenance

Required experience

  • Current student in Diploma/BS.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Hands-on experience with Linux OS environment.

  • Knowledge and background in Robotics/Automation.

  • Hands-on experience in Bash, Python, C++ and ROS is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
