Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Manage optical alignment equipment and related alignment methodology for the latest generation of optical wafer inspection tools
- Manage photo-contamination control, identify ways to improve yield and predictability of the mechanical parts and integration process
- Participate in the integration and troubleshooting of the manufacturing issues of the mechanical systems and subsystems
- Work with suppliers to resolve component/part quality problems in a timely manner.
- Assist Quality and Purchasing departments in driving supplier quality improvements and cost reductions
Requirements
- Bachelor/Master in mechanics with at least 3-5 years mechanical design experience
- Hands-on experience in assembly, alignment, calibration, system integration, and testing of mechanical subsystems, prefer optical-mechanics
- Experience in developing manufacturing procedures and leading a team in assembling (optical) mechanical systems
- Excellent project management, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- A self-driven individual with keen technical mind, positive attitude and strong team player
- 25 % travelling required
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
