About the Role
As a Manual Tester, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality software by performing comprehensive manual testing for web-based applications. Working closely with developers, product managers, and other QA staff, you will help refine QA methodologies, manage test cases, and ensure seamless product releases.
Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end manual testing to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Design and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
- Identify, classify, and prioritize bugs based on severity and impact, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance testing methodologies and maintain quality workflows.
- Provide insights on improving QA processes, including potential future automation.
- Track and report testing metrics and results, leveraging tools like Qase.io or similar platforms.
- Communicate testing updates effectively to all stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 3–5 years of manual testing experience, preferably in agile environments.
- A strong understanding of test strategies, planning, and execution.
- Familiarity with QA management tools.
- Ability to classify bugs by severity/priority and communicate findings effectively.
- Basic understanding or willingness to learn automation testing concepts.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills, ensuring thorough validation of features.
- Strong communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
- Flexibility to collaborate with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with automation tools or scripting (a plus but not required).
- Knowledge of QA best practices and working with global testing platforms.
