The Manager of Supplier Relations will oversee partnerships with key suppliers in the Data Centre sector, develop plans, track performance, and facilitate growth for both the company and suppliers.
Enable, own and grow relationships with strategic suppliers in the Communications & Security Solutions business unit at Wesco Anixter, driving mutual value through joint business planning, performance management, and continuous improvement. You’ll partner closely with sales, global account teams, inventory, marketing, and internal commercial leadership to accelerate profitable growth, resolve supplier performance issues, and strengthen our portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Enable, build and execute supplier relationships and joint business plans with internal teams and supplier partners.
- Track targets, monitor supplier performance/compliance, and communicate results to suppliers and internal leaders.
- Lead supplier governance routines, including executive “top-to-top” and business/agreement planning meetings.
- Enable growth through supplier training programs for field sales and customers to expand solution adoption.
- Identify portfolio gaps and assess new supplier opportunities to improve customer coverage and competitiveness.
- Act as a key escalation point for supplier/sales needs and drive resolution of issues that block execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree (required).
- Experience in distribution / services / supply chain environments, with exposure to supplier management and contract negotiations is preferred.
- Experience in the data centre, cabling infrastructure, physical security or power industry an advantage.
- People management experience
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Detailed orientated with a problem-solving mentality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
