You will work and handle a team comprising of Industry 4.0 Analysts and Data Scientists and Data Science Engineers. The team defines, drives and delivers end to end smart manufacturing solution, coordinated across functions of the business. The team will apply industry-leading best methodologies in automation, AI and machine learning to improve Micron’s product development, business and administrative processes across the company. You will also team up with key collaborators to ensure positive impact and balanced results.

In this role you will have the following responsibilities:

• Lead I4.0 Analysts, Data Engineers & Data Scientists to deliver I4.0 projects that require the coordination and support of resources from global teams
• Work hand in hand with internal collaborators including Engineering team, Procurement team, Central Cost Team, Site Cost teams and Program Management team to identify and implement end-to-end AI-based solution for identification of cost opportunities and value collection
• Quantify, track, and lead financial/operational impact of I4.0 solutions to the business
• Identify new I4.0 use-cases and standard methodologies across strategic and operational processes
• Develop a case that involves evaluating the impact, the return on investment of potential solutions, and prioritizing and proposing projects for implementation.
• Ability to think critically and break down sophisticated data/processes to identify key levers and applicable solutions
• Mentor and develop capabilities (functional & technical knowledge) of team members reporting into you

Qualifications

• At least 5-8 years of work experience in Cost projects, Cost initiatives or similar operations functions
• Familiar with processes, systems and solutions preferably in the semiconductor industry
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven track record to reliably lead and present to small and large groups
• Consistent track record to work multi-functionally with peers, senior and mid-level management
• Peer leadership and relationship management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized and ability to remain flexible to the changing business needs
