Get to Know the Team

We are a team that has the rare opportunity and privilege to work at the intersection of all three domains that an employee (our Grabbers) experience - physical, digital and people.

We do this by working across and with the full People Team at Grab that comprises our Corporate Real Estate and Security Team (CREST), Grabber Technology Services (GTS) and People Operations (Pops), to deliver Grab's productivity advantage by strengthening the motivation of our Grabbers, increasing their skills and reducing "blockers" that get in the way.


Get to Know the Role

As the People Team Strategy & Projects Manager, you will collaborate within the team and across Grab, accomplishing a crucial three-part mandate:

  • Ideate and Integrate: Shape the People strategy and roadmap.
  • Prioritize and Plan: Sequence priorities and initiatives.
  • Drive Action: Manage and execute critical People Team projects.

You will report to the Head of People Strategy, and be the face of the People Team, an advocate for user-first approaches, and a partner who outserves our Grabbers.

This role will be onsite at the Grab office.


The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Ideate and Integrate:
  • Defining the People Team priorities and OKRs based on (i) Corporate Strategy priorities, (ii) priorities to solve (e.g., based on Grabbers' feedback, or insights from People Analytics), (iii) our own roadmap and aspiration
  • Engaging the People Team leaders on these priorities and implications.
  • Prioritize and Plan:
  • Identify and solve interdependencies and synergies across priorities.
  • Maintain a regular review cadence to adjust priorities and resource allocation.
  • Drive Action:
  • Be a program manager for critical People Team projects, those involving other parts of Grab
  • Track People Team project portfolios for ongoing reprioritization.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Conceptual thinking to translate business strategy into People Team priorities, envision outcomes, and identify problems to solve.
  • Influencing diverse stakeholders including Grabbers, functional and business leaders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to shape priorities, identify impactful levers, and establish feedback mechanisms for progress.
  • Ability to guide projects with proficiency in roadmap planning, change management, risk mitigation, structured communication, and conflict resolution, escalating as needed.
  • Experience in contractual, invoicing, commercial management, and collaborating with external vendors would be advantageous.
  • At least 6 years experience in similar projects and strategy positions. Experience within the HR domain is an advantage but not required.
