Manager
We are seeking an exceptional, confident Manager to join our Consultancy team and help lead local and cross-market Consumer Brand work across Asia. You will be responsible for leading day-to-day account performance and integrated campaign delivery across multiple markets and sizable clients, ensuring excellent client service, high-quality output and consistent strategic alignment. You will coordinate with local market teams and Edelman specialists to deliver against integrated communications programs that meet client and business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in consumer PR, reputation management and the ability to operate as a day-to-day client lead.

What you will be doing:
Develop a deep understanding of clients’ businesses, objectives and stakeholder landscapes (consumers, employees, investors, regulators, media, vendors, partners, and other businesses/organizations, etc)
Support research, planning, creative development of integrated communications campaigns.
Manage multiple workstreams across sizeable accounts: timelines, resourcing, deliverables, approvals quality control and performance tracking (in partnership with the Client Leader)
Support creator and influencer engagement: identification, briefing, content review, performance tracking and measurement (in partnership with specialist teams)
Drive media relations through proactive pitching, story angle development, press office support, spokesperson preparation and issues/reactive support.
Write and edit with excellence across plans, client correspondence, press materials, thought leadership, reports etc.
Track program performance and insights and turn results into actionable recommendations
Support tracking of project financials (e.g., budget vs. actual) and flag risks early to account leadership.
Drives organic growth by identifying opportunities to bring Edelman capabilities and solutions to client to advance business goals.
Supports new business: identify new business opportunities, contribute to RFP response and participate in pitches.
Mentor, coach and support teammates, helping them build core skills through feedback and on-the-job learning.
What is required of you:
At least 4-5 years of relevant communications experience, ideally in an agency/consultancy environment and/or related fields, including media or publishing.
Strong foundation in consumer brand PR, particularly in retail, consumer technology and travel & lifestyle sectors.
Excellent writing and presentation skills; able to craft persuasive materials and confidently counsel clients
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, delegate and manage deadlines across multiple workstreams; strong attention to detail and quality control.
Strong understanding of Asia / Southeast Asia market dynamics, media and cultural trends; ability to translate trends into brand opportunities
Interest in and working knowledge of emerging platform, creators and new formats – and how they integrate into integrated marketing programs
Experience working on regional accounts or multi-market coordination experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university.
