JR70641 Manager, Component Regional Marketing

As a Consumer Components Regional Marketing Manager in Taiwan, you will collect, analyze, and communicate customer project updates, market intelligence, and controller vendor updates to the Consumer Components team. You will work with sales, product management, and segment marketing teams to bridge any gaps between the customer and those teams. Your role will enable product adoption and promote Micron and its products in the channel market, contributing to Micron's business growth and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for growing the business at various channel customers by working with cross-functional teams to meet customer’s strategies and objectives.

  • Meet key customers on a regular basis to collect customer design-in status updates and share updates with product management and segment marketing teams.

  • Work together with BU, sales, finance, and central sales to plan and carry out strategies aimed at achieving business objectives. This involves engaging customers, generating demand, and qualifying products.

  • Build short-term and long-term marketing strategies and objectives with management.

  • Build annual account plans and ensure overall revenue targets are met throughout the year by working with Sales.

  • Ensure products are qualified on key platforms. This involves also working with customers to gather their sampling requirements, timelines and further follow ups.

  • Perform financial analysis to determine pricing and help sales with customer negotiations to improve revenue and profitability.

  • Analyze return on investment models for new product requests to determine which programs to engage with.

  • Timely execution of marketing plans, long term agreements, negotiations, executions and ensuring strong follow-through on sourced leads and engaged accounts.

  • Support sales team with product roadmaps, portfolios, and business-related issues.

  • Responsible for identifying areas of improvement in business processes both internally and externally and implement long-term solutions to remove roadblocks.

  • Effectively and clearly communicate with collaborators at all levels to eliminate potential communication gaps and ensure alignment on all projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

  • At least 10 years of experience in the memory component markets including NAND, DRAM and Low Power DRAM, eMMC etc.

  • Good knowledge of Memory ecosystems.

  • Experience in managing and setting forecasts, tracking performance, and analyzing market information and trends to influence product roadmap decisions.

  • Driven and self-motivated as well as a great teammate.

  • Self-management and strong sense of accountability.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient written and verbal English communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) as well as experience with reporting and data visualization

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Occasional travel to China and USA may be required. Travel within Taiwan is a must.
