Job Responsibilities :

As the Manager, Community & Events, you will play a strategic and executional role in advancing Razer's community development initiatives across the region. Reporting to the Regional Marketing Director, Asia, you will lead the planning and execution of high-impact events, build strong community engagement, and strengthen Razer’s brand affinity across APAC markets. Working cross-functionally, you will ensure a seamless and engaging brand experience for gamers while managing relationships with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Community Development & Engagement:

  • Identify emerging growth potential and trends in APAC to drive regional initiatives, engage, and grow Razer’s loyal gamer community across APAC.

  • Create and oversee programs that foster connections with key influencers, ambassadors, esports players, and fans.

  • Leverage platforms (social media, Discord, forums, and offline activations) to cultivate meaningful conversations and relationships with the gaming community.

  • Gather regional community feedback and sentiment to inform marketing strategies and product improvements.

Regional Coordination & Partnerships:

  • Work closely with country teams (Korea, Japan, Australia, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia) to ensure consistent execution of regional initiatives while tailoring for local nuances.

  • Collaborate with external agencies, event organizers, esports leagues, and partners to expand Razer’s brand influence.

  • Secure and manage high-impact partnerships appropriate for the APAC region by identifying, negotiating, and cultivating strategic partnerships with brands, organizations, and influencers that aligns with regional goals and enhance Razer’s positioning.

Event Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and work with channel marketing to execute an integrated event strategy for APAC (e.g., product launches, esports tournaments, pop-up experiences, roadshows, and trade shows).

  • Oversee end-to-end event management: from ideation and budgeting to on-ground execution and post-event reporting.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and regional teams to align event goals with overall business and branding strategies.

  • Ensure events deliver on measurable KPIs, such as brand visibility, engagement, and ROI.

Team Collaboration & Reporting:

  • In close collaboration with global teams, develop best-in-class processes for the APAC team to complement existing workflows, ensuring flawless approval and execution of marketing creative, new initiatives, partnerships, and more. 

  • Prepare comprehensive reports on event outcomes, community growth, and ROI for key stakeholders.

  • Manage regional budgets effectively to maximize impact and efficiency.

Pre-Requisites :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in events management, community engagement, or experiential marketing within consumer tech, gaming, esports, or lifestyle industries.

  • Strong understanding of gaming culture, gaming communities, competitive gaming events, esports trends, and digital platforms. 

  • Proven track record in leading large-scale events and driving community-building initiatives across APAC markets.

  • Adaptive and proactive in identifying emerging trends and market opportunities.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable, measurable results.

  • Proficient in marketing strategies, budget management, and ROI optimization. Basic knowledge of design tools (e.g., Photoshop) is a plus.

  • Excellent project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse, multi-national teams.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

  • Willingness to travel regionally to support campaign execution and partner engagements.
