Job Description

Team Summary
Brand Management is part of Visa’s Asia Pacific Consumer Brand Marketing Services. The team focuses on elevating and protecting the way the Visa brand is experienced in form factors and digital experiences so as to drive greater brand presence and preference, ensuring its strength and viability for the future. 

What a Brand Management Manager does at Visa

This role will focus on two main areas for assigned geographies

Marketing Services: drive adoption and grow revenue 

  • Partner with country teams to pitch, convert and execute revenue-generating creative services for clients

Brand Governance: optimize brand presence 

  • Provide direction, guidance and education of the brand standards governing the design of cards and other form factors as well as digital experiences, and manage related governance process
  • Partner with clients to use payment device innovations to advance strategic imperatives
  • Responsible for brand stewardship for financial institution/ merchant co-branded card programs
  • Ad-hoc projects where required

Responsibilities
1. Marketing Service

  • Support sales engagement activities including but not limited to evaluating potential opportunities, providing service recommendations and cost proposals, as well as creating RFP materials
  • Liaise with country marketers/ clients and in-house design team to interpret and clarify creative briefs as well as deliverables
  • Prepare project plan and manage creative development process to ensure adherence to agreed timelines
  • Drive knowledge sharing and training across functional/country teams to strengthen understanding of Marketing creative services capabilities to drive greater commercial engagement
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis to management, whilst managing sales goals and results

2. Brand Governance

  • Educate internal stakeholders, Visa clients and card vendors on the Visa Product Brand Standards governing the design of form factors and digital experiences
  • Manage the review of and inquiries on form factor and digital experience designs within established service level agreements 
  • Propose thought insights in form factor and digital experience design to support the business objectives of Visa clients
  • Review and categorize affinity cobrand partnerships proposed by financial institutions to ensure brand and reputational fit
  • Identify opportunities for operational process and system enhancements and work with internal stakeholders to develop and execute changes

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 8 years’ experience in a brand marketing operations role in a
  • matrixed global organization
  • The ideal candidate has a solutions-oriented mindset, strong project management and communications skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be adept in working within all levels of the organization and across geographies. The candidate should enjoy solving complex problems by first researching and then involving cross-functional key stakeholders to come to a resolution.

  • A degree in a related-discipline
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills and demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with proven ability to influence and build consensus across a broad set of constituencies
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects at a time
  • Self-starter, solutions-oriented, meticulous, systematic and independent thinker, comfortable working in a fast paced, hands-on, outcome-orientated work environment
  • Exhibit intellectual curiosity and strive to continually learn Values Driven
  • Focused on service excellence and seeks out opportunities to bring value to internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively and frequently, listen carefully, and actively seek and value the perspectives of others

What will also help:

  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Creative suite is desired
