Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

The Team
The APAC Regional Marketing Production team adapts Netflix's audiovisual (AV) marketing assets for audiences across Asia Pacific, localizing trailers, promos, and social campaigns into 30+ languages and across multiple formats and sizes. Operating as a centralized function, the team partners with regional marketing, content localization, creative agencies, and specialist VFX and 3D vendors to deliver high-quality, culturally resonant assets on tight launch timelines.

The Opportunity
The AV Localization Manager owns the end-to-end localization production pipeline for the region's highest-priority titles and campaigns, working as a hands-on lead and trusted advisor to cross-functional partners. You will be the informed captain and source of truth for localization workflows, managing internal pipelines and external vendors to deliver assets with speed, accuracy, and creative excellence. This is a hands-on, consultative role for a self-starter who thrives on freedom and responsibility — someone curious, endlessly resourceful, and even better at working with others than working alone — at the intersection of production, technology, and cross-cultural creative craft.

Key Responsibilities

Localization Production Leadership:

  • Own the end-to-end localization workflow for AV marketing assets — from kickoff through graphics adaptation, conform, dubbing, subtitling, QC, and versioning — across films and series, brand campaigns, house ads, and performance marketing.
  • Serve as the informed lead and decision-maker on localization strategy for APAC priority titles and complex, reactive, or new-format projects — proactively anticipating risks and getting ahead of issues rather than waiting to be asked.
  • Maintain operations to ensure quality control across all languages and formats — verifying technical specs, brand and ratings compliance, cultural accuracy, and creative intent — and quickly flag sensitive content and last-minute revisions.

Vendor & Partner Management:

  • Source, onboard, and manage external localization, VFX, and 3D vendors — including capacity planning, timelines, budgets, statements of work, and best-practice guidance — building collaborative partnerships that raise the quality of everyone's work.
  • Manage external localization production agencies to recreate and adapt motion graphics, text cards, and end cards into 30+ languages, accounting for cultural, legal, design, and typography nuances.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation:

  • Partner closely with regional marketing, content localization, and cross-functional teams to gather context, align on strategy, and secure the materials needed for localization — building the trusted, collaborative relationships that keep multi-team projects moving.
  • Partner with engineering and program management to improve the efficiency, scalability, security, and quality of localization tooling and workflows, bringing a curious, innovative mindset to how the pipeline can work better.

Creative & Brand Stewardship:

  • Act as the technical and creative liaison and brand guardian across regional, cross-regional, and vendor forums — giving and receiving candid feedback to ensure assets uphold Netflix's creative standards.

Candidate Profile

  • 8+ years of experience in AV or video localization, post-production, or marketing production, ideally within entertainment, streaming, or a creative agency environment.
  • Hands-on expertise with motion graphics and video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Cinema 4D, Templater, and Annotation Edit.
  • Proven track record managing external vendors, budgets, and statements of work while maintaining quality and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of subtitling, dubbing, and graphics localization workflows, technical specifications, and QC across multiple languages.
  • Excellent project management skills and a self-starter mindset — you prioritize, pivot quickly, and build or adapt workflows without waiting to be told.
  • Cultural fluency and a sharp eye for detail, with sensitivity to the regional, legal, and creative nuances of APAC markets.
  • A clear, confident communicator who can bridge technical and creative conversations across internal teams and external partners.
  • A curious, collaborative innovator who learns fast, welcomes new ideas, and is energized by working with stunning colleagues across cultures. Familiarity with localization or asset-management tooling and proficiency in Korean and/or Japanese are a plus.

Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.

We are an equal-opportunity employer and celebrate diversity, recognizing that diversity builds stronger teams. We approach diversity and inclusion seriously and thoughtfully. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, ancestry, national origin, caste, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, age, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic makeup, marital status, or military service.
