A Snapshot
As Manager Assurance & Advisory, you will play a key role in evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal controls across AirTrunk’s global footprint, making your mark in the following ways:
- Contributing to the growth and evolution of AAA by applying leading practices, innovative thinking, and emerging industry trends to help build a best-in-class global assurance and advisory function.
- Leveraging your strong business acumen and risk mindset to understand complex business operations and the broader operating environment. Drawing on your knowledge of AirTrunk’s business and strategic priorities, you will assess risks and controls beyond compliance requirements, delivering insightful, value-adding assurance and advisory outcomes through risk-based reviews.
- Harnessing data analytics, technology, and emerging tools to transform data into meaningful insights that go beyond traditional audit approaches. You will contribute to the advancement of AAA’s digital assurance strategy and help drive innovation across assurance activities.
- Building trusted partnerships across AirTrunk through your collaborative approach, professionalism, and integrity. Working closely with co-source partners and stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies, you will establish yourself as a valued advisor who supports business objectives while maintaining independence and objectivity.
- Taking ownership and driving outcomes as an independent, organised, and detail-oriented self-starter. You will support and lead assurance and advisory initiatives that strengthen governance, enhance risk management practices, and improve the overall control environment across the Group.
Your Day to Day
- Partner with co-source providers and strategic assurance partners to deliver the annual internal audit plan through risk-based audits, providing independent assurance over the adequacy and effectiveness of governance, compliance, risk management, and internal controls across AirTrunk's global operations.
- Lead and execute end-to-end risk-based audits, from planning and fieldwork through reporting and remediation validation, leveraging data analytics, AI, and emerging technologies to enhance audit quality, identify emerging risks and control themes, and deliver actionable insights that drive business value and support the evolution of a digitally enabled assurance function.
- Conduct ad hoc reviews, investigations, and special projects as required, including supporting Management and the Audit & Risk Committee on emerging risks, incidents, and strategic initiatives.
- Support the evolution of AAA's digitally enabled assurance function by advancing the digital strategy and roadmap, embedding data analytics, automation, AI, and continuous auditing capabilities into assurance activities. Drive the transition from periodic reviews to more continuous risk monitoring and assurance, enabling proactive identification of emerging risks, control deficiencies, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Support advisory engagements and strategic initiatives by collaborating with first-line and second-line stakeholders to identify opportunities to strengthen governance, enhance risk management practices, and improve the overall control environment.
Requirements:
Experience
- Minimum 8 years in Internal Audit, Assurance & Advisory, Risk Management, or related disciplines within complex, multinational organisations, preferably across digital infrastructure, data centres, telecommunications, engineering, construction, utilities, or other asset-intensive industries. Candidates from leading professional services firms (e.g. Big 4) with relevant industry exposure are also encouraged to apply. Experience providing assurance over large-scale capital projects, construction and development activities, procurement processes, and mission-critical operational environments is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience leading and delivering risk-based audits and advisory engagements across multiple business functions and jurisdictions, with the ability to effectively engage and influence geographically dispersed stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies, risk management frameworks, governance practices, and internal control frameworks (e.g. IIA Standards, COSO).
- Strong foundation in internal audit, including process mapping, risk and control assessments, control design reviews, and evaluation of governance frameworks. Experience in leveraging data analytics, automation, AI-enabled tools, continuous auditing, and/or continuous controls monitoring to enhance assurance effectiveness and deliver deeper risk insights is highly desirable.
- Complementing a strong business audit and controls foundation, experience or exposure in technology risk, cybersecurity, IT general controls (ITGCs), digital transformation, and technology-enabled assurance practices is highly desirable as the function continues to evolve towards a more integrated and digitally enabled assurance model.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Accounting, Business, Finance, Risk Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CIA, CA/CPA/ACCA, CISA, CFE, CRMA, or equivalent are advantageous; however, candidates with strong relevant experience and demonstrated capabilities will also be considered.
