The opportunity

The incumbent will be given an exciting opportunity in our Product Pricing team and will be contributing towards developing and improving analytics, pricing methodologies and general business intelligence. We are looking for a dynamic individual, who has an independent mindset and the strive to succeed.
​Responsibilities

  • During the first two years, the incumbent will lead a project team focused on implementing New Business Policy Illustrations, Post-Sales Illustrations, and a Product Configurator for the Client Administration System on a new platform, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
  • Perform product pricing job for new product development as well as the analysis of the financial experience of insurance programs, driving pricing decisions and supporting risk management recommendations.
  • Presenting pricing recommendations to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Developing pricing methodologies, improving analytics and general business intelligence
  • Supporting and providing input to the Product team on product design and initiatives
  •  Collaborating closely with the Sales and Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Risk Management teams
  • To facilitate internal discussion with product managers, pricing/valuation team and marketing team from pricing viewpoint
  • Support product approval negotiation with Corporate / Regional and Regulator
  • Assist in the annual planning and budgeting cycle
  • Base study for future new products development opportunity
  • New product implementation support including system development and sales illustration testing
