WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Ampersand is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Affiliate Relations with a solid background in relationship management and the TV advertising industry in our NYC office. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with affiliate partners, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving strategic initiatives to maximize affiliate partnership value. The ideal candidate is a proactive strategic thinker with exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, capable of aligning affiliate partnerships with business objectives to support growth.
HOW YOU'LL BE CONTRIBUTING:

  • Affiliate Partnership Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external affiliate partners, ensuring clear, efficient communication and strong relationship building.
  • Relationship Development: Establish and maintain productive, long-term relationships with key affiliate partners, driving ongoing collaboration to align with company goals and priorities.
  • Contract Oversight: Manage the tracking, negotiation, and renewal of affiliate agreements, including monitoring contract terms, deadlines, and compliance with agreed-upon terms.
  • Business Reviews & Reporting: Lead business review sessions, utilizing standardized templates to deliver insights, strategy, revenue performance, and future industry trends to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (marketing, sales, data, and finance) to support the successful execution of affiliate initiatives, ensuring alignment across departments.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up to date on industry developments and trends, providing leadership with insights and recommendations on new tools, best practices, and operational improvements that enhance affiliate performance and maintain a competitive edge.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 5 years of experience in affiliate management, partnership development, or related fields, with a focus on the TV advertising or media industry.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with advanced negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset, capable of working across departments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accountability.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment and managing complex partnerships.

Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Ampersand salary range for this position in the NYC Metro Region. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, experience and performance
The range listed is just one component of Ampersand's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary annual bonuses and / or overtime, commission, etc., as well as competitive benefits including PTO, medical & dental & vision benefits, 401K with employer match, short & long-term disability, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, pre-tax commuter benefits & flexible spending accounts.
Salary Range Transparency
This role has a NYC Metro Region base salary of $75,000-$95,000 and discretionary annual bonus.
