Management Consultants must be professionals who have an interest in how business processes work and interact.  In addition, consultants need to apply their skills in project and program management while exhibiting leadership in process re-engineering and implementation of process, technology, and organisational change.  Finally, consultants also need to have a working knowledge of the industry and/or the functional areas they serve.

Your Role

Management Consulting professionals focus on strategy and take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation.  Supply Chain Management professionals help clients develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing and fulfillment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Business diagnosis and planning activities

  • Analyzing and assuring quality of the data collected

  • Assisting in formulating the specific solutions to address prioritized gaps

  • Supervising business architecture and process design activities

  • Assisting in the development of capabilities and performance measurements/KPIs

  • Business architecture implementation activities

  • Defining testing and implementation activities for architectures, capabilities and processes

  • Developing and testing business processes, capabilities, and architectures

  • Preparing the client for deployment (communications, training)

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Assessment and Strategy and experience in the following skills: Business Model Development, Business Performance Management, Transformational Outsourcing, and M&A Integration

  • Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable

  • At least 5 years' relevant experience in Consulting and/or Supply Chain Management industry

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent specialization

Professional Skill Requirements

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Desire to work in an information systems environment

  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
